What to look for…DUST by Julia Blackburn

This past weekend local Portland Designer, Julia Blackburn of Dust, hosted a photo shoot for her new collection. Julia and her team spent the weekend in a cabin located just steps away from a beautiful river. The shoot took place outdoors under the safety of the forest trees. It was magical and we can’t wait to see the final outcome of the weekend in photos. Here are some behind the scenes images from the weekend.

Occupation: Men’s Clothing Designer, Student/Barista

Wearing: Him – Jacket by John Blasioli, vintage boots, levi’s. Her – Vintage dress, Andy & Bax rain boots, Nau Jacket.

We LOVE John’s menswear designs, especially the one he was wearing today! John launched his “John Blasioli” line this year at Forecast and later scene at Content 09. John formerly designed under the name “A Broken Spoke”. John and his girlfriend Caitlyn, who always wear vintage correctly, were spotted walking the streets of Mississippi and browsing the shops. Such a stylish couple.
